Raise awareness? Hell yes.

Shut off unused lights? turn off my cell phone and devices? get the hell off tumblr? get the hell off tv and radio? Get the hell off? Meditate, masturbate, have sex in the dark, read a book - write a book, tell a story - in person, write a song, breathe, smell, listen, GO DOWN, feel alive? Who the hell are we that this is a challenge or unique event? I do this every day and would dare the rest of the “first world” to have an Earth Year or Earth Decade, even just one hour a day, and risk living and dealing with their own thoughts. Then we wouldn’t need this shit.

I will happily raise awareness but I’m not going to stop being a reasonable, living human being tonight at 9:30.
